<p>Through years of doing everything the hard way…I figured out how to do all the things I NEED to do and still have time left over.</p>
<p><strong>Sounds crazy I know.  Don’t believe me, try it.</strong></p>
<p><strong>3 Proven Tricks to Find More Time:</strong></p>
<p>1.      <strong>Stop Reading Email.</strong> Are you addicted to email?<strong> </strong>Can’t turn it off?  Try looking at email only two times a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.  Who said we have to answer every email the SECOND it arrives?  Trust me!! You will save SO much time by not being distracted by email.  Your clients will be thrilled that you respond within the expectable time period of 24 hours.  And you will be refreshed, insightful and not stressed when you do respond.  Think your responses every come across how you are feeling?</p>
<p>2.      <strong>Chunk Time</strong>.  Are you running around going to Networking events every day?  Trying to follow-up with prospects in the car running to the next event?  Try scheduling all your networking events in two days a week.  I like to network on Tuesdays and Thursdays, that’s it.  I save time by only running around town on two days a week. The other days I have tons more time to schedule my other activities.</p>
<p>3.      <strong>Take Off. </strong>Yes, you heard me correctly.<strong> </strong>Take some time off!  When was the last time you took a walk?  Or read a book?  Or listened to your favorite music?  We all know that if you are rested and alert you can get things done quicker.  Ever been responding to email at 10:30 or even 11:00 at night?  It takes forever to write that email and it sounds unprofessional when you are done.  You will be more productive when you are rested and not stressed out!</p>

		<title>Is Your 60 Second Commercial REALLY Working?</title>

<li><strong>Do people often comment on how great your 60 Second Commercial was?  Or are they ignoring you after the meeting?</strong></li>
<li><strong>Bottom line, how many NEW clients are you getting from your Networking Groups?</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>Try changing your 60 second commercial!  Remember, everyone in that room knows at least 250 people.  Depending on the size of the group, you should have at least 15% of the people wanting to talk to you RIGHT after the meeting.</p>
<p>If you don’t have people standing in line to talk to you after the meeting try my proven tricks.</p>
<p><strong>Here are my 3 Proven Tricks to a Stellar 60 Second Commercial</strong></p>
<p><strong>1.  Start with a Grabber.</strong> The best grabbers are a “Startling Static” to get everyone’s attention.  Have you ever been to a networking group and EVERYONE starts their commercial the same exact. Something like this,  “Hi, I’m Ben from Allstate insurance company. I have insurance for, home, boat and life.  A good referral for me is someone who needs insurance.”  Come on, I know you know what I’m talking about.</p>
<p>Try this Grabber?  (Look for the startling statistic)</p>
<p>“Did you know 34% of medical claims submitted are rejected by insurance companies?  We can reduce the rejection rate to less than 2%.&#8221;<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>2.   Be Specific to Be Terrific!</strong> Remember to ask very specifically who you would like to have a referral for!  Avoid words like: Everyone, All, Somebody, etc. “Everyone” is NOT a good referral for you.  Plus, if you use the description of “everyone”, my mind automatically draws a blank.  I can’t think of anyone, and I really do want to help you.</p>
<p>Stop and think about it next time someone says “…and a good referral for me is anyone who has a back” (Chiropractor)  or “…everyone who has hair” (Hair Stylist) can you think of anyone?</p>
<p>Are these specific?</p>
<p>“Today I&#8217;m looking for an introduction to an office manager who is frustrated with their accounts receivables” or “Today I’m looking for an introduction to a family practitioner who would like to increase his or her income with increased efficiency of claims filing.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>3.  Call to Action.</strong> In a room full of people you will only connect with 15-20% of the people.  It’s a fact.  Face it, we can’t resonate with everyone.  Wouldn’t it be great if those people came to YOU at the end of the meeting?</p>
<p><strong><em>Here is my best trick, promise!</em></strong></p>
<p>You have to create a reason for them to come to you, a “Call to Action”.  Offer to give something of value away for FREE if they will come to you at the end of the meeting. &#8221;I have a free gift for you today if you’ll see me at the end of the meeting and give me your business card.”</p>
<p>Of course you want to tell everyone your name and the name of your company, just don’t do it the first sentence!!!</p>

I’ve been to so many Networking groups that I walk away saying to myself “Self, was that a good fit? Did I think everyone there was having a good time, or they clock watching?</p>
<p>I have 3 secrets to help me figure out if the group is “Right” for me:</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Was I welcomed by a Visitor Host?</strong> Or did I have to figure out who to talk to? A great networking group will have a Visitor Host assigned to help you meet the right people.</li>
<li><strong>Did they seem interested in me or just want to give me their business card?</strong> Have you ever been to a networking group where all they are doing is “card slinging”? I‘ve learned the hard way, all those people want to do is collect business cards on their desk and not build a business.</li>
<li><strong>Does this seem like a “blast from the past”?</strong> Do I suddenly feel like I’m back in High School? If you feel like this at a Networking Event, RUN to the nearest exit! Don’t walk, RUN. This group is not serious about building their business.</li>
</ol>
<p>I encourage you to keep looking for a “Good Fit”, even if you have to drive across town or get up earlier one morning a week.  <strong><em>Remember, one great referral will Skyrocket your business.</em></strong><br />
